Great Island,great for extra storage! Allow a few hours to put it together,and you will need 2 people to do it,but it's well worth it. Everything is clearly marked,and they added extra hardware. Put on your favorite music,and get to work on it.

Good construction, easy assembly, adds much needed counter space to our kitchen, my wife loves it.

Only problem and the reason for 4 stars is the cabinets have about a 3/4 inch gap between them. It would be nice to have wider cabinet doors.

This is much nicer than I expected. It is a low cost way to add much needed storage and counter space with a kitchen that lacks both. I had a small issue with missing and damaged parts and I called the company who promptly replaced them.

Overall great product. Exactly what we were looking for to add counter space and storage in the kitchen. There was one hole that did not line up and the pin holes for the shelves needed to be drilled out. Instructions were good. Building the box was easy. There could be more detail in the directions for the step after the box has been built. Overall we are very happy.

In addition to being a quality product, it was especially easy to assemble. All hardware was arranged in bags labeled by their function/ description. Construction is solid and attractive. The manufacturer promptly replaced a couple parts broken during assembly. Great quality casters, drawer tracks, door hinges and fittings. Best furniture kit I have ever assembled.

This cabinet is an ok cabinet. When I read other people comments about this product seem not easy to assemble, but after I did it, I feel great because it was easy for me. It took me 2 hours from opening the box until I finished to move my utensils and kitchen tools from my old cabinet, and placed it to the place that we want, plus cleaning the messy styrofoam. For u r information, I did it by myself. Don't forget to use electric screw driver (drill). If u don't use the electric screw driver, it may take longer times to finish it up.

All the small parts like magnetic catches, hinges, and the drawer slides are in place already.

Only the back of the cabinet and the base of the drawers do not made from solid wood. But they are strong enough to hold everything.

The black paint of this cabinet is not smooth like in the picture. I can say the paint is not smooth like an expensive furniture or like a car paint. Yet, it looks good and looks expensive when look from a distance. But it will look un-expensive when u look closely.

There are big gaps between the doors, so you can take a look what are inside the cabinet from outside. I think the doors are smaller. If u need to make it perfect then u may adjust the place of the hinges. When u adjust the hinges then don't forget to cover the holes of the previous screws.

You cannot use the counter top as a cutting board.

The drawers are little bit small. The inside dimensions of the drawers are 10.5 x 17 x 3.5 inches.

I found some scratches on the cabinet panels.

I used it for pots and pans on one side and for bowls and plastic kitchen items on the other side.
It has two draws and they are great, since I didn't have any in my kitchen.
I don't have anything negative to say,this island fits my needs and the price was great also.

Great for some extra storage and counterspace in the kitchen. Assembly wasn't too bad, there was some paint on the dowels and pre-drilled holes which made it hard to get the screws to bite, but other than that everything with this product is exactly what I needed.

It is a sturdy piece, and attractive but be forewarned - assembly is intense. There are a few points during assembly where you need a third person to hold pieces together. You definitely need two people the whole time. Once the unit is put together, it is quite sturdy and attractive.

I can't believe now fast this thing came ONE business day after ordering it was in my living room when I got home from work! Lots of pieces to assemble but not overly difficult. Don't get overwhelmed! It took about an hour and a half. Great looking looking wood. The counter top on it is so nice and finished well. My kitchen was hurting for cabinet and counter space and finding this has been a joy! The island has wheels for ease of movement when cleaning the floors and the wheels lock to keep it from rolling when in it's place. The price is easily $200-$300 cheaper than anything comparable! So all in all quality GREAT[...]!!!! I will shop on this site again and again.

My kitchen does not have enough counter top space. I love this island because I can easily move it anywhere in my kitchen when I need extra work space. The island was very easy to assemble. The instructions are very clearly written and illustrated. [...] The island is very sturdy and I was especially impressed with the way the door hinges were already attached so there was no problem with aligning doors. This is the best unassembled piece of furniture that I have ever purchased. I am planning to purchase other pieces in the future.
